Brock College? That meant Rugby, Rugby, Rugby. Friends and social life seemed to revolve around this and the time was excellent. And all courtesy of Dave Linnell, a.k.a. chiseller, who now has an OBE; good on him. rnrnUnfortunately the time spent on Rugby meant my academic results were not, initially, as good as they should have been and I stayed 3 years at the College, sitting my A levels twice. However this hasn't done me any harm, indeed it taught me that academic results aren't the be all and end all.rnrnNow serving with HM Forces, and to be honest the Rugby probably helped there. Currently in the US but due to move to Germany soon. Come back to the New Forest once or twice a year.

I loved my time at Brock, great atmosphere and lovely setting, we had a lot of fun. I studied Geography, Economics and shorthand/typing from 1982-4. Since then I\'ve done an archaeology degree at Southampton, traveled lots and mostly worked in archaeology and publishing. Right now I\'m in communications at a research council in Swindon. Still love visiting the New Forest and proudly show my son the college when we drive past.

Brock was a great 2 years of my life. I made friends with some great people and my main memories are laughing so much!! I was never much of an acadeamic student but I struggled my way through and managed to do just enough to get into college to do OT.rnI went on to train as an Occupational Therapist in Exeter which is what I still do. I live near Guildford with my husband and our 2 small girls. I don't see anyone from Brock now but am intouch via Facebook with a few old friends.rnI still love driving past the college when I go back to see Mum, and hope that current students have as much fun as I remember having.rn

Thoroughly enjoyed the transition to higher education. Went to Bath to study to be a Junior School Teacher, worked for 1 year, hated it, re-trained in 1982 into computing, and worked for the next 30 years as a software developer, now a Project Lead. Live in Bath, (not a place you leave very easily!), but regularly return to Lymington to visit parents. Actively involved in a church in Bath, and part of a ladies choir, cycle 11 miles a day as part of journey to work, and love walking holidays.

2008 b-tec national it @ work

It started Brock in 2002 studying business development . I learnt a whole load of skills including how many businesses work.. from there I studied computing in the work place and how Artificial technology is helping people and businesses today... after nearly 6 years of college I went to Southampton Solent university o study computer games development. Today I work in retail and in my spare time fix laptops. I'm also thinking of running my own businesses...if it wasn't for the help o Brock and many of the staff there. I feel I wouldn't be where I am today...

I loved studying here. 2 years I miss rather a lot. I had great support and teaching from my modern languages lecturer Françoise in particular. I studied French, Politics and English Lit at Brock, and I am now in my second year of a Bachelor's in French,, specialising in History and Economics at the University of London Institute in Paris, where I am also President of the Politics and Debate Society.
