FCS044 : Cookery for men

Course description:This is one of the most popular courses run in the school and has proved to be a great hit with all the previous participants. This is a ‘hands on’ session and you’ll prepare and cook a range of dishes from starters, breads, soups, main courses and puddings - all under the guidance of the chef tutor.
Week 1: Soups with homemade bread
Week 2: Lasagne & Fish PieWeek 3: French Apple Tart
Course content:Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our chefs in the New Forest Cookery School Green Room, with tea and coffee being served. After a short introduction you will go on to commence your course in our professional kitchens.
Teaching methods:Demonstration, observation and participation.
Additional information:All ingredients, equipment and an apron will be supplied for use on the day.
Courses of a full day or more include a light lunch.
