Skills for Life

Skills for Life courses are offered during the daytime and evenings in a wide range of locations across the Forest.

These friendly and informal classes are for you if you want to improve your job prospects, support your child's learning and feel more confident about your English and Maths skills.

You can also prepare to take other courses and/or, if you wish, gain a qualification, including the Adult Numeracy/Literacy qualifications.

We also have courses to help you if English is not your first language - these are listed as ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses.

Skills for Life provision is offered FREE OF CHARGE, due to government funding, except in the case of some ESOL programmes - contact us for more details.
