Enrichment

Our Enrichment programme gives you a great opportunity to try something new alongside your main studies. Whether you want to join a club for fun, or gain another qualification to support your UCAS entry and boost your CV, we have got over 60 options to choose from.

Enrichment is a social part of College life where you get to meet new friends as well as learning a new skill or a hobby. You may want to be part of a sports team, learn a language for your summer holidays, take part in debates or the annual College production – it’s up to you! All we ask is that you commit to your chosen course just as you would with any of your timetabled subjects.

Students are encouraged to participate in at least one Enrichment option. Activities run for 30 weeks, one weekend or just one day and include:

  • Adventure Club
  • Beach Life Guarding
  • Black Sheep Records
  • Chinese
  • College Theatre Production
  • Community Volunteers
  • College Newspaper
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award

  • Fencing
  • Going Green
  • LAMDA
  • Life Drawing
  • Photography
  • Samba Band
  • Surfing
  • Yoga

I’ve enjoyed the Life Guarding Enrichment that I did this year. It was great fun and a good way to take a break from study while learning a valuable skill which I can hopefully use to get a part-time job alongside my studies in the future.
