6SACT AS/A level Critical Thinking
Everything you do - in College and out, discussing or writing, in class or at work - will benefit from you taking this new subject. Critical Thinking tackles the key skills of reasoning; logic, structure, expression and evaluation, and all in ways that engage everybody's interests and connect with most other subjects. Through the media, current events, puzzles, textbooks, internet learning, real-life situations/dilemmas, you will become a more thoughtful, organised analytical and convincing writer (or talker). This is available as either a two year AS/A level course, or as an accelerated one year A level course for Gifted and Talented students. You get that extra boost for your results in all your other courses - because they, too, will depend on your Critical Thinking skills.
