Quickstart courses in the Forklift Truck Operations sector

Our training is delivered in partnership with Logistic Employment Training Services (LETS), who have now been successfully operating as a training provider for industry since 1997.

We currently offer refresher training on either Reach or Counterbalance Forklift Trucks.

The training will last 5 days, 2 days at a College facility and 3 days at a specialised training centre in Eastleigh. It will combine both theory with practical exercises, leading to a test which covers:

• Equipment checks 

• Manoeuvring in confined spaces, with and without a load 

• Stacking and unloading items at different heights

All of our courses are delivered by qualified instructors and meet The Health and Safety Commission’s approved code of practice for both instructors and operators.

PLEASE NOTE: All candidates must have proof of previous training. This could be an old licence or a letter from a past employer saying the candidate has operated a fork lift on their site.
