Quickstart Social Care Sector Training

Quickstart Social Care Training is based on the set of national minimum standards for care. These standards cover areas such as the principles of care, understanding the role of being a care worker, hygiene, health and safety, recognising and responding to abuse/neglect and developing as a care worker.

Jobs might be thin on the ground but there is one area of the market that is in need of employees- social care. From working with older people, children, families and youngsters to people with disabilities, there are a range of opportunities to earn a living and learn fantastic new skills while helping others.

Upcoming training dates are to be confirmed so please visit the Contact Us page to enquire about upcoming dates and any other queries about the course.

By meeting with quickstart, Sean was able to discuss his career options and create an action plan for getting back into the jobs market. Speaking about his experience Sean says, “I was amazed at how easy it was for me to get my working life back on track. I have always had an interest in the Care Sector and quickstart gave me the tools that I needed to change my career and start pursuing my interest. Just one month after being made redundant I was enrolled on an Adult Health and Social Care course at Brockenhurst College. The service was absolutely brilliant and quickstart were supportive throughout, I was even given extra support because I have dyslexia which really helped. I never knew my redundancy would open so many doors for me and give me the chance to change my working direction, but I am now in full time employment as a Support Worker with Diverse Disability Plus Ltd and enjoying every minute of it!
