VisasIt is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid visa and have met all the Home Office requirements. You need to allow plenty of time for us to process your application for College and then for the Home Office to process your visa. You need to have received a conditional offer letter from the College before being able to apply for a visa. International students are sometimes disappointed when they are accepted by the College and then do not have time to get their visas. Ensure that you keep all your paperwork together and have it with you when you enter the UK in case you are asked for it. We advise you to apply for your visa one month before your course is due to start. If you need a visa you will need to prove that you are able to pay your fees, or have a sponsor who will pay your fees. You need to do this before you make your application for a visa. You will need to provide evidence of this when you send us your application form. Full details of the new visa requirements and application process can be found at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk Even if you do NOT need a visa when you enter the UK you will have to be able to show the Immigration Officer that you are able to cover your cost of living expenses as well as any tuition fees or other course related costs you have to pay. | ![]() |
