EXCELLENT VOCATIONAL COURSE RESULTS AT BROCKENHURST COLLEGE

300 Brockenhurst students taking A level equivalent vocational courses have gained excellent results.

A record 44 students achieved Distinctions for all parts of their National Diplomas and Certificates.These students included Guy Adams, Emma Bartlett, Samantha Newton and Sami Pigott from Poole, Sabrina Bough, Alan Boylan and Martyn Wilson from Ferndown, Sophie North from Wimborne, Hayley Chalmers, Amy Grayson, Amy Jones, Jennifer Lawson, Claire Neville, Francesca Tayler, Samantha Tomlinson and Charlotte Vivian from Bournemouth, Rachel Searle from Highcliffe, Lorraine Kitcher, Chloe Lawrence-Green and Martin Shaw from New Milton, Dean Parker from Hordle, Harry Girling from Milford-on-Sea, Rose Brissenden and Amy Washbrook from Lymington, Neil Montague-Rendall from Brockenhurst, Emily Beevers from Lyndhurst, Emily Moonesinghe from Totton, Alexander Quelch from Winsor, Emma Dean from Southampton, Michael Shelley from Holbury, Isabel Heslop, Carley Huxham and Emma Trim from Hythe, Lloyd Withey from Dibden Purlieu, Millie Allen and Sarah Bainbridge from Romsey, Joanne Pickering from Fordingbridge, Harriet Sparrow from Salisbury and Mishall Mansoor from Eastleigh.

25 students have achieved their full apprenticeship frameworks in Business Administration, Customer Service, Hospitality, Retail and Sporting Excellence - a record for the College and reflecting the growth in apprenticeship provision at Brockenhurst.

140 First and Introductory Diploma students achieved their qualification with 75 gaining Distinctions and Merits.

Di Roberts, Brockenhurst College Principal, said "These are excellent vocational examination results to complement the equally outstanding A level results announced last week.All these students are well equipped and qualified to enter the job market in their chosen profession; many will progress to university.The development of the country's vocational skills is vital to our national prosperity and I warmly congratulate the students for their achievements and wish them every success in the future".
