College score with new safer goalposts from Football Foundation

Brockenhurst College has been awarded a fantastic grant of £2640 to replace its football goalposts with new, safer versions from the Football Foundation.

The College was awarded the grant after applying to the Football Foundation’s Goalpost Safety Scheme.  Teaming up with The Football Association (The FA), the Football Foundation has earmarked almost £4m to replace non-compliant and unsafe goals in England at thousands of schools, colleges, clubs and parks across the country.

Louise Hall, Director of Sport at the College thanked the Football Foundation by saying, “This funding towards new, safer goalposts is a fantastic boost.    We run a very successful Sports Academy and are always looking for new opportunities to upgrade our equipment to benefit our students.”
