If you have a passion for travel and a commitment to helping other people, a vocational course in this area will be your passport to employment in one of the many sectors of travel and tourism.
You will cover a range of aspects relating to the industry including its underlying business structure, customer service, cultural understanding, marketing activity and the UK as a destination. If there is a particular area of work within the industry you are interested in, you can also take specialist courses to learn more about airfares and ticketing, chalet hosting, working as part of a cabin crew or as a resort representative.
As part of your studies, you will have the opportunity to go on residential trips to renowned European destinations and see how popular visitor attractions operate and cater for the needs of tourists from all over the world.
On completing a Travel & Tourism course at Brock, you’ll be qualified to take on a range of exciting roles at holiday camps, travel agents and in hotels and could progress to develop executive or management roles. There are also fantastic opportunities within the industry to travel and work at destinations across the globe.
