You can continue playing the sports you love and developing as an athlete while completing your studies by signing-up for our Sports Academy programme. The Sports Academy is a talent development system designed to help you become the best athlete you can be in your chosen sport. This prime opportunity to remain committed to your sporting life has cemented our reputation as the number one college for sports development locally.

Each squad will have the opportunity to train twice-a-week using our extensive facilities, while also playing in county, regional and national competitions throughout the season. Importantly, Sports Academy training schedules and fixtures will be timetabled to fit around your lessons.

AFCB Female Football Programme

Are you a female football player aiming to make the most of your sporting and academic potential? Then the AFC Bournemouth Female Football Education Programme is the ideal choice. AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust is proud to offer this opportunity for talented young footballers to combine academic studies with a comprehensive football education programme.

Basketball


Through our Basketball Academy you can develop your skills and general fitness under coaches who have experience of competing both nationally and internationally. In the past our teams have won leagues and been cup semi-finalists. One member was even invited to join the prestigious Impact Basketball Academy in Las Vegas.

Football


EFA-qualified coaches provide a first-class training environment for Football Academy members.
Our five teams compete across the Hampshire College Leagues, as well as in regional and national cup competitions.

Golf


Whether you already play golf competitively or have the talent and drive to start, you will definitely want to join our Golf Academy. As a member you can benefit from contact with PGA-qualified coaches throughout the academic year, improving all aspects of your game ahead of competition.

Netball


Netball at Brock is all about developing ball skills, matchplay ability and fitness, as well as having fun. Our Netball Academy gives you the chance to play in the Hampshire College League and participate in cup competitions both regionally and nationally.

Rugby


Our Rugby Academy has a fearsome reputation for playing high-tempo rugby with organisation, precision and commitment. Indeed, our training and gameplay will improve any player. We compete in a range of league and cup competitions, which means you can
test yourself against some of the best sides around.

Taster Sessions

Each year we hold trials where you can discover more about our academies and how you can take part in sport alongside your studies.

The Sports Academy system is open to all Brock students. We expect entrants to have a solid background of playing experience and show full commitment to the team, as well as determination to improve.

Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS)

We now provide added support for talented athletes in education under the TASS dual-career programme. The scheme enables young people to get the very best from their sporting and academic endeavours without having to choose between the two. Support services include physiotherapy, nutrition advice, lifestyle support, psychology, strength and conditioning coaching, and a private medical scheme.

AFC Bournemouth Female Elite Player Programme

Are you a female football player aiming to make the most of your sporting and academic potential? Then the AFC Bournemouth Female Football Education Programme is the ideal choice.

We work with AFC Bournemouth so women footballers can combine academic studies with a comprehensive football education programme. The Female Elite Player Programme will allow you to access high-quality coaching, with a range of sessions available each day, plus regular Wednesday fixtures. Meanwhile, your academic curriculum will be tailored to match your ambitions, with a range of A Levels and Vocational courses on offer.
