Your complaint will be investigated by a senior manager who will contact you within five working days. Should the matter not be resolved to your satisfaction, you have the right to speak to the College Principal directly on the matter.

Your views matter
Brockenhurst College values input from students as a means of improving your learning and overall experience. We collect these views through focus groups, surveys and regular meetings with the Students’ Union.
Here is a summary of views you expressed during 2007 and the actions we have taken as a result.
You asked for: More social space at the main College site.
We have:
Provided three additional canopied spaces on the campus attached to the coffee bar in the Hard Brock; the Little Brock and the Sports Hall.
Planned for increased social space in the new building programme.
You asked for: More computers.
We have:
Provided two new classrooms on site with Sports Studies fully equipped with 24 computers.
Provided an additional mobile lap-top trolley equipped with 22 PC laptops.
Improved study areas with wireless network and laptop facilities upstairs in LRC.
You asked for: Availability of parking at most sites.
We have:
Extended the current car park with 130 additional places from September 2007.
Carried out remedial works to the car parking surface in February 2008.
Reduced the price of permits to encourage purchase and reduce illegal parking and introduced wheel clamping for illegal parking.
You asked for: Reduced cost of travel.
We have:
Reviewed the pricing structure and held any increase for 2008/9 to the level of inflation only.
You asked for: Improved refreshment facilities, including a larger and tidier café
We have:
Appointed a ‘front of house’ person in the Hard Brock.
Reviewed cleaning arrangements.
Undertaken start of year and mid year decoration schedule.
Provided additional canopied social space attached to the Hard Brock and Little Brock.
Worked with the Student Union to develop plans to have a revamp of the Hard Brock including seating and decoration.
Introduced fresh fruit at Skills Centres.
Working with the Students’ Union, we have planned a survey in the summer term to establish what is important to you at the moment and what suggestions you have for further improvement and development.
