Out of School Care

After-school Club
After-school Club is from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We will collect your child from Brockenhurst Primary School, give them a sandwich tea and provide a variety of activities to keep them happy until the end of the day. Children from other schools may also attend the After-school Club, but we are unable to collect them from their school. We suggest that you pop along after school one day with your child to have a look around before they start, so that we can explain where we will collect your child from Brockenhurst Primary School and so they can recognise a familiar face on their first day with us. We will also provide you with a letter to give to the school explaining who will be collecting your child.

Holiday Play Scheme
Holiday Play Scheme covers all the local school holidays (except Christmas when we close for 2 weeks) including:

• Half terms
• Easter holiday
• Summer holiday

We welcome children from any school or local area. These sessions must be booked in advance and can be either half a day or a full day (8:00 am - 6:00 pm). You will need to provide food for these sessions.

Activities
We provide a variety of planned activities linked to a specific topic for each holiday. The children will get a chance to enjoy a variety of outside games as well as indoor games and craft activities.

The ratio for this group is also 1:8.

Settling Sessions
We encourage you and your child to visit Highwood Nursery prior to starting any sessions with us. Ideally these visits need to be pre-booked with the Management team in advance. This will give you and your child the opportunity to meet with staff within the out of school group and discuss the procedure for collection from school if required. Prior to commencing After school care, we will ensure you have a letter for your child's teacher informing them of who will collect your child on which days.
