MJ’s Restaurant

MJ’s is our on-campus fine-dining restaurant where students learn to cook outstanding dishes under the supervision of professional chefs.

This facility is a prime learning asset for equipping prospective chefs, hospitality staff and front-of-house managers with the skills needed to begin a successful career in this fast-paced industry.

The quality of training provided at MJ’s has even been praised by celebrity chefs James Martin and Raymond Blanc.

Dining

Our fine-dining menus start at £19.50 per head for a three-course table d’hote lunch.

MJ’s is also licensed to sell a wide range of wines and beverages to complement the menu. Our trainee sommeliers can assist you in choosing the ideal accompaniment for your meal.

The Restaurant is open Tuesday to Friday during term time – please note that a booking will be required.

Hard Brock Café

The Hard Brock Café is a two-storey social area where you can have lunch, relax during free periods and meet with friends.

The Café provides a wide variety of hot and cold meals throughout the day such as salads, wraps, sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and fast food.

You can also purchase water, juices, fizzy drinks, milkshakes and smoothies, as well as a variety of hot drinks.

Coffee Bar

The Hard Brock Café Coffee Bar is located upstairs and is entirely run by students.

The counter offers a range of refreshments including coffee, hot chocolate, crisps, snacks and more.

Brock Hub

Brock Hub gives you the ideal environment to engage in independent study, helping you keep up with your work and hit your targets. The Hub contains several areas dedicated to collaborative group study and other areas dedicated to silent study. As well as featuring all the equipment and resources you need – both digital and non-digital – this facility is home to Professional Services staff, who are 100% committed to supporting you at college. These staff members include finance advisors, safeguarding and welfare workers, and a careers specialist. There is a learning resources shop too – providing quality products at competitive prices.

At Brock, we have a variety of sports facilities, most of which are open to the local community for personal use or commercial hire.
