The BTEC L3 Extended Dip Performing Arts Students invite you to this years Contemporary Theatre: Modern Plays assessment performance of ‘Gormenghast’.PerfArts

This play is adapted by John Constable based on the original novels of Mervyn Peake

‘In a world bound by iron laws and dead rituals Titus, the 77th Earl of Groan and Lord to Gormenghast is born. His father Lord Sepulchrave is tired of the Kingdom and is hiding in the library. His Mother, The Lady Gertrude is busy in her world or cats and birds and his sister Lady Fushia dreams of love, adventure and something exciting to happen. Steerpike, a boy from the gutter sees his opportunity to get out of the kitchens, but how far will his ambition for power go?.’
