Learn how to create a stunning table design that can be used to decorate your home over the festive season. You will use a variety of techniques which will enable you to make an Advent ring using mixed foliage, candles and fresh flowers. The Advent wreath or Advent crown is a tradition that symbolizes the passage of the four weeks of Advent in the Western church. Starting on the first Sunday of Advent, a candle is lit and a further one lit each subsequent week until, by the last Sunday before Christmas, all four candles are lit. Many Advent wreaths include a fifth, Christ candle, which is lit on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. You will be taught through practical demonstration and hands on experience.
