Course Details

Learn how to tell great stories for fun and/or profit. 

This course will focus on the elements that make great stories. we'll focus on aspects such as believable characters, engaging narratives, and how to use subplots and subtext to take your writing to the next level.

You will look at writing short stories, novels, scriptwriting and various other forms of creative written media.

You will be encouraged to develop a new or existing piece of work over each ten week period.

There will be a maximum of 10 students on the course.

Please bring along pen and paper and/or a fully charged laptop.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

What do you define as 'advanced'?

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
