Application of Make-up

Course Details

This workshop is aimed not only for beginners, but also to those who wish to develop their application method. It will also be suitable to the therapist who has their own business and wishes to complete a refresher course.  

The workshop covers the following:

·         How to select suitable product types to suit your skin condition.

·         How to select colours to complement your colouring.

·         Use corrective & contouring techniques to enhance your natural features.

·         How to use and take care of your equipment.

You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands on experience.

Please bring along a notepad and pen. You will need to bring along your make-up kit, brushes and a mirror (preferably a free standing dressing table mirror).  Please bring a packed lunch.

Information & Support

By the end of the course, you will have identified your unique features and colouring and had the opportunity to practice your technique with the guidance and support of the tutor.

Learners may wish to progress to the ITEC Diploma for Beauty Specialists - Level 2

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
