Bagmaking Workshop
Course Details
Would you like to own a bag that is completely unique?
We'll show you how to construct a simple tote bag suitable for everyday use, that can be customised for beach, travelling or used as a baby bag.
For those who have already made the basic bag you can choose from a wide variety of bags to make so that you can add to your skills.
Work at your own pace and have fun along the way.
You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands on experience.

You will need to obtain an equipment and cutting list prior to commencing your course from our New Milton Centre. Contact details below.
Please bring:
- A Sewing Machine
- Large sewing machine needle size 80 or 90 (as you will be sewing through several layers).
- Walking foot for sewing machine (optional)
- Basic sewing equipment – pins, scissors, tailors chalk, tape measure.
Don't worry if you don't have your own sewing machine, we do have several sewing machines for student use - please advise us upon enrolment.
You may also wish to bring a packed lunch.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?
Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

What do you define as 'advanced'?
Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?
Students need to be 19 years old or over.
There is no upper age limit.
