Course Details

This course is for couples who wish to learn to dance a basic waltz, quickstep, jive and cha cha cha or Salsa.

This course is taught using Tutor demonstration and on-going assessment.

Please wear comfortable shoes with composition soles (and heels for ladies) PLEASE NO TRAINERS. Please bring a bottle of water or drink.

Students can progress on to our Ballroom & Latin American Dancing - Improvers / Intermediate courses.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

For some courses, this may be possible.  Please contact leisurecourses@brock.ac.uk to confirm.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.
