Course Details

This BPEC qualification is an absolute requirement if you wish to be a fully-accredited gas engineer with current licence to practise your profession.

The ACS programme is designed for new gas engineers who have recently acquired their Foundation Certificate.

You will complete your ACS at our dedicated facility at Marchwood where you will spend one week training followed by one week being assessed.

Here at Brock we work hard to help you fit your training around other commitments. Therefore your ACS training and assessment timings can be relatively flexible.

Course Structure & Teaching Methods

Your ACS will comprise both theoretical and practical training and assessments.

Once you have successfully completed the programme your accreditation will be uploaded to the Gas Safe register.

Progression Opportunities

Once you are newly qualified this ACS qualification will give you the ability to work as a gas engineer for the first time.

After a period of regular work you may wish to start up your own company as a gas installer, possibly employing other engineers.

Once you are an experienced gas engineer the ACS will entitle you to work legally as a gas engineer for five years.
