You can qualify as a BPEC accredited solar domestic hot water heating systems installer with this comprehensive programme.

It has everything you need to achieve minimum technical competency (MTC) for solar installers, and is also recognised by firms offering incentives under the Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS).

By the end of the course you will be competent to recommend the most appropriate system for your clients, as well as install and maintain all systems that are common in the UK.

Course Structure & Teaching Methods

This course lasts two days after which, if successful, you will be able to work confidently and safely in this emerging energy sector.

You will learn through a combination of theoretical and practical training activities under the guidance of accredited experts.

Learning includes an introduction to solar heating and solar energy collection equipment.

You will then progress to training and assessment in installation, commissioning and final handover.
