Course Details

If you want to learn how to cook for yourself, then this is the ideal learning opportunity.

You will start with the basics and quickly develop your skills in order to create more complex dishes.

You will learn to cook items from handmade bread and soups, through to fish dishes, shepherd’s pie and lasagne.

The final goal is for you to make a full roast chicken dinner, which is actually a lot less difficult than you might think.

Information & Support

We will provide all ingredients and equipment, which means you do not need to bring anything.

We will also give you containers so you can take your food home.

The course lasts 1 days and costs £210.

    Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

    Students need to be 19 years old or over.

    There is no upper age limit.

    Can I start the course part way through?

    For some courses, this may be possible.  Please contact leisurecourses@brock.ac.uk to confirm.

    What do you define as a 'beginner'?

    Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

    What do you define as 'intermediate'?

    Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.
