Course Details

Crochet is easy to learn and is a relaxing and enjoyable hobby.  This course is suitable for all levels from complete beginners, someone with a little ability or those who wish to expand their knowledge.                           

The beginners’ course covers quite a number of stitches. The Tutor will provide a booklet complete with instructions on stitches and various projects to undertake throughout the course.  You will learn how to make a granny square, follow a pattern and make a hook holder with fan edging. Mobile phone cover with a flower.  Improvers will be undertaking advanced work but the tutor will go through all the different stitches and how to read patterns and diagrams             

You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands on experience.

Information & Support

Courses will be offered throughout the year giving learners the opportunity to further develop their skills.

Please bring along some wool for your first project and a size 4mm crochet hook.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
