Digital Artistry – Foundation

Digital Artistry – Foundation

Course Details

This is a follow-on course from Photoshop Get Creative, but can also stand alone for people who simply wish to take their current knowledge further.

The programme is all about creating composite images using photographs and scanned images, as well as overlays, to create atmosphere, depth and light. Creating and using custom brushes to use on your images will also be covered.

You will work on various projects, building your skills as you go. Importantly, you should have a good knowledge of layers, masks, blending modes and smart objects, as well as basic knowledge of using cutting-out tools.

Information & Support

Please bring a notebook and pen, plus a USB memory stick so you can save your work. Course handouts will be available to assist you in practising various techniques. A variety of photography courses and workshops are offered throughout the year, giving you opportunities to further develop your skills.
