Digital Photography – Basic

Course Details

This course will enable you to use your digital SLR camera on the manual settings and take creative control of your images. Time is allowed to develop ideas and undertake practical projects.

This course is suitable for anyone starting out in photography and with a passion for the subject.

The group will be expected to share their work and critique that of other students.

Information & Support

Students can progress onto the Digital Photography – Intermediate (10 week course). 

There will be a maximum of 10 students on the course.

On average each class will include approximately 1 hour of teaching and 1 hour of practical exercises. One or more sessions may be held as 'field trips'.

The work will be assessed by the tutor on a regular basis from which feedback will be given to help improve skills. 

Students should bring their cameras, manuals, notebook and pen.

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
