You will learn how to draw and paint figures in isolation and in groups for inclusion in your landscape paintings. You will also practice capturing movement and scale. Students will use various media including pencil, pen and watercolour pencils. Please Note – There is no model, you will be working from visual resources.
You will be taught through demonstration, discussion and sharing ideas. The Tutor will demonstrate various techniques at relevant points during the day.
Information & Support
Courses and workshops run continually throughout the year offering learners the opportunity to further develop their skills.
Please bring with you - usual painting media i.e. watercolours, acrylics, fibre tip pen or biro, pencil, eraser, bring coloured pencils if you have them but if not the Tutor will have some available for use on the day. Please bring a packed lunch.
Practical help and advice is also provided to assist students with any kind of disability or individual need, including people for whom English is not their first language. Please contact our centre staff to discuss your needs prior to starting your course.
