Enrichment courses are undertaken alongside your main studies and provide a great opportunity to learn new skills, develop existing talents and gain another qualification to support your UCAS entry and enhance your CV.
Did you know that students that are physically active are more likely to get a higher grade in exams than students that are not physically active? Did you know that this can be an increase of up to one full grade boundary?!
This is a session for all students that want to improve their fitness. The session could be gym based or outdoor fitness orientated and will be based around the needs of the group. This is an excellent opportunity for students to explore fitness and learn from some of our best instructors.
This enrichment is not linked to a qualification.
All students are required to wear the appropriate fitness kit. The sessions maybe held in the fitness suite or outside depending on the group needs and the discretion of the instructor.

What can I do with this qualification?
Following these sessions students will be confident to exercise independently and will have knowledge of safe ways to exercise. Following this students could progress on to the CYQ Gym Instructor qualification of the other fitness qualifications offered at college if they so wish.
