Flower Arranging – Improvers

Course Details

Taking your knowledge and skills further. Using seasonal flowers and foliage to create floral arrangements. Suitable for students who wish to improve on their existing skills or who have completed the beginners course. Maximum: 10 students.

  • Week 1 – Twigs, twigs, glorious twigs – inspiring ways of using twigs in flower arranging.
  • Week 2 – European parallel design – long oblong design.
  • Week 3 – Fruit, veg and herbs – to incorporate into flower arranging.
  • Week 4 – Round table posy arrangement.
  • Week 5 – Big or bold or exotic creative design.

You will be taught by means of practical demonstration and hands-on experience.

Information & Support

Please bring along scissors, secateurs and an old towel to work on.  Seasonal garden or shop bought flowers and evergreen foliage.  Additional materials will be available to purchase from the Tutor if required.

Courses run continually throughout the year offering learners the opportunity to further develop their skills.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
