French Advanced – Post A Level

French Advanced – Post A Level

Course Details

There will be plenty of opportunities for informal French conversation in a friendly, supportive atmosphere on this course. By reading and discussing articles from the French press, as well as books on a range of topics including contemporary subjects, history, culture and the study of a region, you will develop your skills in speaking, reading and writing in French. Regular grammar use will help to underpin these skills.

Information & Support

You will need good knowledge of the language (post A Level standard), a broad vocabulary, and the ability to use the French language at a high level. You will be able to understand, with the help of a dictionary, articles from the French press. Most of the basic grammar points should have been broached, such as the subjunctive mood and conditional tenses, although these will be revised as required in class.

Please bring a notebook and pen.
