Course Details

Students who have already studied basic French will find this course an excellent way to continue to improve and re-enforce their language skills.

Teaching will be by a direct approach through a great variety of activities including reading, role-paly and games as well as listening and using modern technologies (internet)You will practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a supportive manner. 

Topics will include:

Daily routine – eg Time, Activities, in the house and office, frequency

Shopping – eg Shops/wares/shopkeepers, quantities, packaging

Sports and Leisure – eg Activities/sports, leisure/pastimes, your body

Grammar to include: Perfect, Imperative and future tense – reflexive verbs – pronouns

Information & Support

This course is suitable for students who have basic knowledge of the language or who have completed the beginners course.

Advice will be given regarding e-books to download and films to be watched.

Course costs are as follows:

Lymington - 2 hours x 10 weeks - £95  

Greyfriars - 1.5 hours x10 weeks - £71

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
