Due to the impact of COVID-19, Hengistbury Head Outdoor Education Centre will unfortunately be unable to offer any courses throughout July, August and September and will remain closed to the public during this period.

Course Details

Our multi-activity days offer the opportunity to experience a range of exciting activities both on land and in the water.  Some of the activities we run on multi-activity days include Sailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Windsurfing, Climbing, Raft-building, Stand-up Paddleboarding or Archery.  These days are a great chance to meet new friends and have fun with siblings.

Information & Support

Our activity days start at 09:00 but if you need to drop your child off a little earlier, you are able to. During the drop off time, we have no activities planned so we suggest bringing a book or something to keep your child entertained for a short period of time. The earliest your child can arrive is 08:40.

This course is suitable for those aged 8-15.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

What do you define as 'advanced'?

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
