Course Details

During this course you will be working towards RYA Powerboat Level 2.  This internationally recognised course is run by one of our qualified instructors who will impart the knowledge and practical skills required to handle a powerboat in range of conditions, both in sheltered water and at sea.  During this highly practical two-day course, you will perform low and high speed manoeuvres in a variety of powerboats, using centre console and tiller control.  You will also cover other aspects of powerboating including basic navigation, tides, buoyage and knots.

One instructor to no more than three students will ensure continual support and feedback to quickly develop your boat-handling and seamanship skills.

The RYA Level 2 qualification is internationally recognised.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
