Course Details

This course aims to provide an exciting setting to improve your skills. You have the opportunity to perfect techniques and explore new skills such as rudderless and spinnaker sailing.  This is the only weekday course that the instructor will be teaching from a powerboat, rather than on board the sailing boat.

Information & Support

Experience required: RYA Level 2

This course is suitable for those aged 16+. 

The Centre has a team of experienced sailing staff, who will guide you through these early stages of sailing.  The shallow waters of Christchurch Harbour make it an ideal place to learn to sail.

Course fees & Duration

There is a cost of £200 for a block of 4 sessions.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
