Course Details

As your sailing improves through the Level 2 course, your instructor will be on board introducing new skills such as mooring, pick-up and backwards sailing.  As well as learning new skills, the Level 2 course is about building your confidence to sail the boat without the instructor on board, although your instructor will always be close-by in a powerboat.

Information & Support

Experience Required: RYA Level 1

This course is suitable for those aged 16+. 

The Centre has a team of experienced sailing staff, who will guide you through these early stages of sailing.  The shallow waters of Christchurch Harbour make it an ideal place to learn to sail.

Course fees & Duration

There is a cost of £200 for a block of 4 sessions.

Can I start the course part way through?

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

What do you define as 'advanced'?

Advanced for those who have completed an intermediate course with us or are proficient in the subject.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
