Course Details

This is a short course to introduce Beginners to the basics of the language.  Suitable for use on holidays in Spain or South America.  Students will look introductions, talking about yourself and where you are from, talking about your family.  You will learn how to order food and drink, how to ask where things are, shopping, booking tickets and checking into a hotel, using public transport and going to a restaurant. 

The key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing Spanish will be practiced in an engaging and supportive way with a range of tasks and activities set during the lesson as well as regular homework involving preparation, grammar or written exercises.  There is no formal testing but work and progress will be monitored by your Tutor.

 

Information & Support

Students will need to bring a notebook and pen.  The book and CD for Talk Spanish 1 will be used and there are also supplementary materials online to accompany this book. 

Course Cost

The 10 week course will cost £71.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
