Pilates – Intermediate

Pilates – Intermediate

Course Details

Pilates is the ultimate mind and body exercise for people who want to tone, streamline and realign their body. The course covers the eight principles of Pilates and how the Pilates system works to strengthen, tone and condition the body from within. Pilates is a floor-based exercise. Therefore, it is important that you are comfortable using a mat on the floor. Light equipment will be used together with your own bodyweight to improve posture, breathing and stretching. This will provide both relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. Equipment includes Pilates rings, resistance bands, foam rollers and light weights.

Information & Support

You will need to bring a non-slip mat and a pillow for head support. You will also need to bring warm layers of comfortable clothing and a small towel. If you have any medical/physical problems that may affect your participation, please consult a doctor/physiotherapist/chiropractor first.
