Italian – Advanced

Course Details

Students will learn to build upon, improve and apply their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.  The course will engage in the culture of the country.  Classes will help you with everyday topics and will enable you to enrich your vocabulary, improve your grasp of grammar and become more fluent.

There is no formal testing.  Your work will be monitored by your tutor and you will have regular homework involving preparation, grammar or written exercises.

Information & Support

You will need a good knowledge of the Italian language i.e post GCSE/O Level or equivalent.

You will work from a textbook (recommended at the first lesson) or photocopies.

Courses are run continually, and you will be able to join these to further develop your skills.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

For some courses, this may be possible.  Please contact leisurecourses@brock.ac.uk to confirm.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
