Jewellery Workshop – Stacking Rings
Course Details
You will measure your ring size and learn to cut patterned or plain ring wire accurately so it can be soldered with a torch. You will then shape the material on a ring mandrel and texture the surface before finally polishing the ring, making it glow. You should be able to create three or four rings in total.
Information & Support
Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty and bring an apron. All students should wear flat shoes with non-slip soles and covered toes. Long hair must be tied back and jewellery and watches are best left at home. There will be additional costs for materials. Rings with turquoise stone: silver simple £5, silver patterned wire £6, brass or copper simple £2.50, brass or copper patterned £3.50. Without stones: silver simple £3.50, silver beaded £4.50, brass or copper simple £1:00, brass or copper patterned £2.00.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.
There is no upper age limit.
