Macrame Workshop – All Abilities

Course Details

During this macrame workshop, you will learn how to make a variety of different beautiful items. The exact details of what you will create vary per session, so please contact the workshop organiser for more information on what each session includes: fusee@brock.ac.uk/01590 625222. This workshop is for all abilities and the skills learnt on this day can be transferred to other macrame projects.

Information & Support

Materials will be provided at an additional cost of £5 (payable to the Tutor on the day). Learners must bring 1 x pair of sharp scissors 1 x cat or dog brush if you already have one, if not, a couple on the day can be borrowed (metal bristles) 1 x tape measure. Optional: any small/personal decorations you may like to add to your wall hanging e.g. ribbon, silk flowers etc. Optional: a branch or stick approximately 50-60cm in length - to use for your wall hanging (wooden dowels are provided). Additional courses and workshops will be offered throughout the year giving learners the opportunity to further develop their skills. Please see the current Leisure Courses brochure for details.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

What do you define as 'intermediate'?

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
