Course Details

This course is a prime opportunity to learn various needle techniques, colour blending and how different shapes can sculpt an object. An introduction to barbed needles and other equipment needed in order to create a hare or a badger will be demonstrated. You will then be guided through the process of sculpting one yourself.

Information & Support

The kit needed for the workshop will cost £5, which you can pay to your Tutor on the day. Importantly, your kit will contain everything you need to make TWO figures, which means you can make another one at home. Please bring along one small pair of sharp needles and one sewing needle. Extra needles can be purchased for £1 each. Additional kits will be available to purchase on the day. Lunch will not be provided, but there are areas nearby where you can purchase food. You may wish to bring a packed lunch. Additional workshops will be offered throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to further develop your skills.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
