Course Details

This is a practical drawing/painting workshop that draws on the techniques of the Italian Futurists for creating movement in your work. There will be an element of historical referencing during this workshop.  You will experiment with subject matter including figures, animals and moving objects.

The Tutor will demonstrate various techniques throughout the day.

Courses and workshops will be offered throughout the year giving learners the opportunity to further develop their skills.

 

Information & Support

Please bring along –

2b pencil – your usual painting media (watercolours, acrylics, coloured pencils etc).

Cartridge paper for experimental sketches.

Suitable brushes.

The course Tutor will have some suitable resources for painting or you may wish to bring along your own.

You may wish to bring a packed lunch.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.

Can I start the course part way through?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.
