Minimum entry requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 4 and above to include:
- English Language
- Maths (grade 4) preferred
You must be a qualified Level 2 gym instructor and be at least 17 years old. In addition, you must have an enthusiasm for exercise and fitness and attend gym or fitness classes regularly. Please note: equivalent qualifications will be considered for mature students.

What can I do with this qualification?
This qualification can lead to various different avenues of employment. All of these will enable you to gain a decent foothold in the industry.
Following successful completion of the programme you could find yourself working as a one-to-one personal trainer. Alternatively, you could opt to become a sports massage therapist.
