Photography Workshop – Portrait Photography in an Outdoor Setting – Lepe
Course Details
Portrait photography can be a lovely way to capture images of friends and family. This workshop will cover how to capture both individuals and groups of people in an outdoor setting.
We will look at the various ways people can be photographed, using natural light, how to use different camera settings to create different effects, and how to interact with your subject or subjects and gain their confidence.
This is a hands-on course where participants will be guided throughout the day by the tutor.
Information & Support
Please bring:
- a notebook and pen
- digital camera
- tripod
- memory cards
- fully charged batteries and any lenses you have.
- any other camera equipment you may have that could be useful, such as filters and a battery charger.
Course handouts will be available to assist you to practice certain rules and techniques.
The emphasis will be on working as a group throughout the day so people can bounce ideas around for the benefit of all. You never stop learning in photography and every day you practice, you can gain new skills and ideas.
Please bring a packed lunch.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.
There is no upper age limit.
