Pilates is the ultimate mind and body exercise for those who want to tone, streamline and realign their body. The course covers the eight principles of Pilates and how the Pilates system works to strengthen, tone and condition the body from within.
If you have any medical/physical problems which may affect your participation, please consult a doctor/physio/chiropractor prior to commencing the course. (As with all exercise classes, students are required to complete a simple and confidential health questionnaire).
Pilates is taught on the floor – learners need to feel comfortable exercising on a mat.
Information & Support
You will need to bring a non slip mat and a pillow for head support.
Practical help and advice is also provided to assist students with any kind of disability or individual need, including people for whom English is not their first language. Please contact our centre staff to discuss your needs prior to staring your course.
