The course involves small group work using standing and mat work. Light equipment is used together with own bodyweight to improve posture, breathing and stretching the whole body and mind whilst providing relaxation and a sense of well being.
The course is suitable for anyone with 3 years of Pilates experience.
Information & Support
The course is for both males/females.
You will need to bring:
Small flat cushion
Warm layers of loose, comfortable clothing
Socks (with non-slip 'pimples' on the soles are recommended)
Bottle of water
If you have any medical/physical problems which may affect your participation, please consult a doctor/physio/chiropractor prior to commencing the course.
If you are concerned about your ability to exercise or any medical conditions, please discuss with the tutor. (As with all exercise classes, students are required to complete a simple and confidential health questionnaire). It is important to attend the first class - if you are unable to do so, please contact the Centre to advise.
