Course Details

This learning opportunity references historical and contemporary work and practice, and will see you work direct from models.

It includes instruction, demonstration and practice of all the formal elements of drawing, plus using a range of media.

You will learn and develop new skills before demonstrating them. Teaching will be through practical activities and demonstrations, as well as group and one-to-one tuition, discussion and ideas sharing.

Information & Support

This course is suitable for those with little or no experience and those aiming to improve existing skills.

Courses will be run continually. You will be able to join these to further develop your skills.

What do I need to bring to the course?

Bring whatever you have along with B pencils and an A2 drawing pad to the first class.

Additional course costs:

  • Model fee is included.
  • Advice will be given at the first session on the equipment and materials needed.
  • Please note that A1 and A2 sheets of drawing paper will be available to purchase at the Centre.
