Course Details

This course will cover many different aspects of studio pottery, starting with hand-building and working up to using the wheel. Glazing and decorating will also be covered.

Information & Support

You will learn through demonstrations and practical exploration under the supervision of your Tutor. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty and also bring an apron. You will need to purchase clay from the Lymington Community Centre at £9 per 12.5 kg bag. Importantly, you will need to take your clay home after each session because there is very limited storage space.

What do you define as a 'beginner'?

Beginner is someone who has little or no knowledge of the subject area.

Intermediate is for those who have completed a beginners course with us or have some knowledge of the subject but would like to learn more.

Are there any age restrictions (young/old)?

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
