Pottery improvers – methods include hand building and wheel work

Course Details

This course is suitable for those with little experience in pottery. During the course, you will cover many aspects of studio pottery including hand building and use of the wheel, glazing and decorating. Students pursue their individual projects under guidance from the tutor.

Information & Support

You will learn through demonstration and practical exploration while being supervised by your tutor. 

Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty and also bring an apron. 

You will need to purchase clay from the Lymington Community Centre at £10 per 12.5 kg bag.

You will be required to take the clay home after each session as there is very limited storage space.

Students need to be 19 years old or over.

There is no upper age limit.
